Our Integrated Photonics Ecosystem (IPE) project promotes the development and commercialization of photonic integrated circuit (PIC) devices. Photonics “on a chip” is the leading edge technology needed to make sensing systems, smaller, lighter, and cheaper, without sacrificing core capability.
Through the IPE project, we are building a PIC development pipeline in Montana including prototyping, application testing, device integration, and engineering scale-up.
